A routine starts with a purpose. Choose a cleanser for what you need to remove, then consider leave-on hydration. You do not need every product in the collection to build a routine that works for you.
01 / Start with cleansing
These two cleansers have different textures and directions. The oil begins on dry skin; the foam is lathered with water. Choose the step that fits your evening rather than assuming more cleansing is always better.
Centella Light Cleansing OilA light oil texture for removing makeup, sunscreen and excess sebum. Massage onto dry skin, add water to emulsify, then rinse.

02 / Match the product to the step
| If you are choosing… | Explore | Keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| A makeup-removal step | Centella Light Cleansing Oil | Start with dry hands and a dry face. Emulsify and rinse. |
| A rinse-off foam cleanser | Centella Ampoule Foam | Lather in wet palms. “Ampoule” in its name does not make it a leave-on serum. |
| A watery hydration step | Centella Ampoule | Apply and pat into skin. Do not rinse off as a cleanser. |
| A light gel-cream finish | Centella Soothing Cream | Apply at the end of the evening skin-care routine. |
03 / Finish with the texture you prefer
Centella Soothing CreamA lightweight gel cream with Centella Asiatica Extract, trehalose and Ceramide NP. A moisturizing finish after your chosen leave-on steps.

Before you add a step
Do I need the whole Centella collection?
No. These products fill different roles. Start with the steps you need and introduce new products one at a time so you can assess how your skin responds.
Is Centella Ampoule the same as Centella Ampoule Foam?
No. The Ampoule is a leave-on product. Ampoule Foam is a rinse-off cleanser. Check the full product name when choosing.
Is the cleansing oil fragrance-free?
Do not treat it as fragrance-free. The global-store ingredient list includes botanical oils such as bergamot and lists limonene and linalool. Review the full list if you avoid fragrance ingredients.
A few essentials, whatever you choose
- Use gentle motions and lukewarm water. The AAD’s face-washing guide explains why scrubbing is unnecessary.
- Introduce unfamiliar products carefully. Follow the AAD’s guidance on testing a new skin-care product and stop using it if irritation develops.
- If skin feels dry, keep moisturizing in the routine. See the AAD’s dry-skin care advice for general guidance.
